A new hotel has docked in Brighton Marina, creating more than 60 full-time jobs.
The Alias Hotel Seattle, which opened on Monday in the Waterfront development, is the latest addition to the Alias Hotels group.
The hotel features 71 bedrooms, of which the sea-facing ones have private sun decks, and a restaurant, Caf Paradiso, which will serve fresh fish sourced from the marina fishing fleet, pizzas and Mediterranean cuisine.
Owner Alias is confident it has chosen the right venue for its new venture.
Nigel Chapman, founder of the group, said: "From a hotelier's perspective, Brighton is a dream come true.
"It has the best occupancy and average room rates outside London and a vibrancy that sets it apart from any other UK city."
