Brighton fighter Chill John returns to the ring at the Southampton Guildhall on Monday in a six-rounder against an opponent to be announced.
The lightweight aims to get his career back on track and his confidence will not have been done any harm after witnessing former opponent, Graham Earl of Luton, demolish Steve Murray in two rounds last Saturday night at Wembley Conference Centre to get a crack at the British title.
John, 25, who is trained and managed by Ronnie Davies, went ten rounds with the unbeaten Earl last year in an unsuccessful challenge for the Southern Area title.
He then suffered a defeat at the hands of Lee Meager just before Christmas but is back on the comeback trail.
Another Davies fighter, heavyweight Brodie Pearmaine from Lewes, is in action tomorrow night at Caesars Palace, Streatham, against Red Murray along with Horsham middleweight Mark Thornton making his third outing, who is up against London-based Freddie Yemofio.
