FBI agents will offer a $1 million reward on television tomorrow night for help catching one of the world's most wanted mobsters.
The hunt for Irish-American crime boss James "Whitey" Bulger, wanted for 19 murders, has spread to Brighton since he went on the run eight years ago.
The FBI, working with Scotland Yard, found paperwork linking him to rented property in Brighton.
They believe he may be hiding somewhere in the UK after he was spotted in London's West End.
A businessman who saw him only realised it was Bulger when he spotted his face on an FBI "most wanted" poster in the film Hannibal.
Bulger, 73, is listed as one of the FBI's ten most wanted criminals and is considered "armed and extremely dangerous".
FBI agents will appeal for public help on BBC One's Crimewatch tomorrow and offer the reward, worth £636,000.
Bulger became one of the most violent and notorious crime bosses in Boston during the Seventies.
He gained a reputation as a ruthless enforcer and killer, specialising in drug trafficking and extortion.
