Worthing boss Barry Lloyd thinks his side can emulate their Sussex Senior Cup victory against rivals Lewes tomorrow.

The Woodside Road club won 2-0 at the Dripping Pan earlier in the season and Lloyd is hoping for a repeat performance in the league.

He said: "It is nice to have the experience of going there and getting a win. It gives the players confidence and hopefully we can do it again. They have had a few indifferent results lately but we know they are a still a very good side with some quality players so we will take nothing for granted."

Phil Churchill is set to make his second league appearance after signing on Saturday from County League Burgess Hill.

Lloyd is delighted to have got the former Horsham YMCA striker. He said: "I tried to get him in the early part of the season but it didn't work out so it is good to have got him. He scores goals everywhere he goes and will be a good addition."

Mark Knee returns from suspension but Ben Carrington is a doubt after feeling the effects of a foot injury in Tuesday's home defeat against Walton and Hersham.

Meanwhile, Lewes could give a debut to Danny Wright.

The former Molesey midfielder signed on Wednesday and could go straight into the squad.

Paul Kennett is hoping to be fit after missing Tuesday's defeat by Banstead with an ankle injury.
