Futureshock are expected to break out this year so it might be best to catch them at Cream before they escape into the mainstream for good.
The Birmingham-based duo of Alex Tepper and Phil Dockerty have been rocking dancefloors for a few years but, with an eagerly-awaited debut album waiting in the wings, along with a single featuring Ben Onono (the voice behind Tim Deluxe's smash hit It Just Won't Do), you should expect to be sharing the dancefloor with a few other punters.
There should be plenty of tunes from their new album, which they're launching on the night, but, if that doesn't appeal (are you mad?), residents Paul Hillyer and Louis Edwards will be on hand to play the usual high-quality sets.
10pm to 3am. Admission is £10 (tickets are also available in advance from BPM Music on 01273 747400 and at HMV Brighton).
