Councillor Ken Bodfish should give Brighton and Hove Albion Sheepcote Valley, the next valley to him.
Then, when a goal is scored, he would be able to hear the cheers from his home. He would not hear the cheers from Falmer.
He would still be giving the club our land, would he not? Why not lease it?
After all, the ground belongs to the residents of Brighton, Hove and Portslade, does it not?

Calling Anzio veterans
As we approach the 60th anniversary of the Anzio beachhead landings in 1944, veterans may not be aware the city and people of Anzio have awarded a certificate of honour to those entitled.
Next of kin may apply. Applications should include soldier's rank, full name and full address with postcode and unit served with on the beachhead.
Enclose three first-class stamps to me, to cover postage and packing, in a special postal tube.
