Ivar Ingimarsson is confident Albion can bounce back in the battle of the Ice men at relegation rivals Stoke tomorrow night.
The on-loan Wolves defender suffered his first defeat with the Seagulls at Gillingham on Saturday.
Now Icelandic international Ingimarsson has the chance to redress the balance against some familiar faces in the key clash at the Britannia Stadium.
He said: "They are owned by Icelandics, they have got Brynjar Gunnarsson in midfield, Bjarni Gudjonsson on the right wing and Petur Marteinsson, who has been in and out of their side. I am just looking forward to it. It's definitely an important game. Every game is like a cup final now."
Ingimarsson conceded a penalty and deflected in Gillingham's third goal at the Priestfield Stadium.
Fortune was on Albion's side elsewhere as other results went their way but they will drop back into the relegation zone tonight if Grimsby pick up at least a point at home to Sheffield United.
"We cannot count on luck, we have to pick up points ourselves, and I am sure we will do that," said Ingimarsson.
"We let it slip at Gillingham, but we have got to get ourselves together and make sure we are ready.
"We definitely think we can escape. There is a good team spirit and when you have that you have every chance.
"Stoke are in a similar position to us, fighting for their lives in this division. Everybody knows how important this game is.
"There are four teams competing for basically the fourth place at the bottom. It's very tight down there and it's going to be a big boost for the team that wins it. I'm quite confident we can do it."
Wolves manager Dave Jones has agreed to extend Ingimarsson's loan spell although he can be recalled instantly.
Albion boss Steve Coppell said: "He is happy first and foremost that Ivar is playing first team football here and staying match sharp.
"From my point of view and the Albion fans' point of view we have got to hope Dave doesn't have too many injury problems and we can keep him.
"He's a good, solid performer. He is good in the air, he has got pace and as a personality he has slotted in."
