It was good of Richard W Symonds to reply (Letters, February 24) to my letter of appreciation of the help we received from the US during the Second World War.
It is obvious from his writing he doesn't know much about history. He should visit the library, if Ifield has one, and study the truth about the Second World War.
If the US had not come to our aid in 1941, Mr Symonds could easily have been conceived in a German concentration camp.
I may be deaf and I may be blind, Richard, but at least my brain is not warped like yours.
However, keep reading The Argus and you may improve your knowledge.
