The desperation of the Labour Party in the forthcoming local elections in Brighton and Hove is becoming more and more evident.
Instead of debating the real issues, first we have them misrepresenting our plans to look into the possibility of building underground car parks, then we see the abuse of a respected community newsletter in West Hove for Labour's delivery purposes, then we have Labour propaganda being given out from Brighton and Hove City Council premises - which is against the rules - and the Lib Dems have been targeted by the misleading leaflet, "Liberal Democrats Unfocused" in Regency ward.
What this shows is the political bankruptcy of the Labour Party in Brighton and Hove, which has not only run out of answers but is also resorting to underhand campaigning. People will soon have a chance to show what they think of a once-great party now bereft of ideas.
We will continue to campaign positively on our programme for positive change.
