Bottles of a rogue vodka that could send drinkers blind have been found.
The Food Standards Agency is issuing an updated health warning over Imperial Valkonov Vodka, which could contain high levels of methanol, after bottles turned up in Brighton.
They are practically identical to ones found on sale in Loughborough almost two weeks ago, which tests revealed to contain high levels of methanol. They are one litre screw-top glass bottles, more like those used for mineral water than spirits.
The latest bottles have blue labels with a red stripe instead of gold and silver labels found on the original ones.
David Statham, the agency's head of enforcement, said: "People should not drink this vodka."
Effects of methanol poisoning include abdominal pain, drowsiness, blindness and breathing difficulties.
Anyone who thinks they may have drunk some of this vodka should seek immediate medical advice.
