We have lived in Brighton and Hove since December. We like the city but there is a problem.
Our house is a long way from the centre so we need to use the bus for anywhere we want to go. However, there are only three buses an hour.
If we miss one, we have to wait a long time for another. Three times we've had the experience of putting up our hands and signalling to the driver but the bus didn't stop at the bus stop and passed by in front of our eyes - not even full.
As a result, we waited an extra 20 minutes each time. Also, there are few buses at night. After a trip, we came back to the coach station in Brighton and looked for a bus but there were none running.
We don't know how local people put up with it.
