Poker expert Bruce Atkinson hopes to play his cards right in the grand final of a national contest televised live tonight.
He will take on the likes of snooker players Steve Davis and Jimmy White, as well as Tony Bloom, grandson of the late vice-chairman of Brighton and Hove Albion, Harry Bloom.
Mr Atkinson, 57, who owns Atkinson Chartered Accountants in Hove, qualified through preliminary heats for the final of the Poker Millions Masters.
The top prize on offer tonight is $150,000.
Each finalist has already won $20,000 after staking $10,000, about £6,500, to enter.
Mr Atkinson scooped £23,000 for finishing runner-up in the 1997 European championships and last year won £13,700 Northern Lights Championships.
The final will be screened live on Sky Sports One at 8pm tonight.
