The South Downs Virtual Information Centre (VIC) has announced plans to revamp the site later this year.
The VIC was launched in 2000 to increase understanding and enjoyment of the South Downs by providing an interactive information resource.
Since then it has received more than 750,000 hits, providing visitors with more than 500 pages of information on the South Downs.
The site has sections on education, protecting and conserving the Downs and visiting the area.
During the height of the foot-and-mouth crisis, the site received an average of 18,000 hits per week.
