A reunion party for former council workers is being held next month.
The event takes place at the Jubilee Court retirement complex in Mill Road, Worthing, on Tuesday, April 8, from 10am to 1pm.
Jubilee Court is built on the site of offices which belonged to Worthing Rural District Council until 1974. It later became the town's register office.
The party is being organised by Jubilee Court resident Dora Squires, who worked in the council's finance department between 1968 and 1974.
She said: "It will be lovely to meet up with old friends and relive the happy days we shared together, as this was a very happy site.
"The developers, McCarthy and Stone, have kept the old wall in the garden where people used to have their wedding pictures taken when they came out of the register office."
