Hastings have signed striker Ahmet Suleymanoglu from Wimbledon in a desperate bid to ease their Dr Martens Premier Division relegation crisis.
The 19-year-old joined United on Tuesday from the Nationwide Division One side and is set to make his debut at Stafford Rangers tomorrow.
He was due to be released by the Dons at the end of the season but Hastings manager George Wakeling has persuaded him to leave early and help United beat the drop.
United are five points from safety but have two games in hand over Halesowen who lie just above the four relegation places.
Wakeling said: "He is a very young and pacey striker and he has been playing a high level of football. I don't know how he will do but we have to do something because we are just not getting the results and things have to change."
Suleymanoglu is the second striker Wakeling has signed in a fortnight following Rob Collins' loan move from Horsham.
Wakeling said: "I have always thought the players should play themselves out of trouble and I still think the team are good enough to do it but we are not taking our chances at the moment."
Midfielder Paul Ruddy is serving the last of a three-match ban and is the only absentee for United for the trip to second-placed Stafford.
