I was down on the beach at 9.45am to see the burning West Pier and it is was an awesome sight. It was a sad day for Brighton and Hove.
Suspicions rage over how the fire started. I was with a friend, watching the inferno.
He suggested the build-up of starling and seagull excrement might have spontaneously combusted.
I will not be changing the company logo or name as it has now become even more synonymous with Brighton and Hove.
