Lancing Parish Council, which is celebrating its 109th anniversary, plans to spend just under £270,000 in the coming year.
Residents will pay a total of £162,140 to the council, which equates to £24.67 per household, or 47p per week.
This sum will be boosted by £105,000 in income from council facilities and £3,250 from investments.
The bulk of the spending, £166,062 will go towards employees' wages and administration, with £31,445 earmarked for outside facilities, £34,175 for parish hall facilities, £2,150 for grant assistance and £5,000 for town centre regeneration.
A further £20,000 has been allocated for new playground equipment at Monks Rec and Beach Green, £5,720 on refurbishment of the parish hall, £3,375 on the refurbishment of other premises and £1,400 on ground maintenance.
The council has also successfully bid for a £10,000 grant that will be spent on environmental improvements, shop security and shopfront improvements.
There are 16 councillors in the parish: Elizabeth Edwards, Roy Gibson, Edwina Weekes, Sharon Wood, Patrick Beresford, Stella Carter, Joy Hartley, Dawn Hughes, Denise Ferris, Pam Pashley, Shirley Rance, Jean Turner, Wendy Gray, Adrienne Lowe, Tony Nicklen and Jayne Sykes-Strudwick.
The next elections are in May next year.
