Schoolchildren are celebrating after winning a £250 prize to set up their own newspaper.
Lyndhurst Road First School in East Worthing gained sponsorship from a number of local firms, incuding EDS, which is based in the town.
The company runs a community fund draw and the school was chosen for a donation.
The newspaper will be produced by the pupils using computers, the internet and scanners, with the finished product going on to their web site.
Pupils watched as Marianne Jones (left, in jacket) handed the cheque to headteacher Ann Lawrenson, with Lisa ODonovan, the schools ICT co-ordinator, looking on.
