Wesley Bush-Harris and hat-trick heroine Christine Wicks claimed the singles titles at the Brighton Championships at Bevendean Primary School.
Bush-Harris sealed the men's crown by beating defending champion Paul Elphick 11-3 14-12 10-12 11-4.
He lost the first point and was wrong-footed by Elphick's touch play, but swiftly turned the tables.
It was toe-to-toe in the second and third games before Bush-Harris clinched victory.
Bush-Harris cruised home 11-7 11-4 11-5 against Stefan Bonnafous in the semi-finals while Elphick struggled to pip Prakash Varsani 12-10 9-11 11-6 9-11 11-9.
The champion defeated Paul Cotton, a veteran finalist, 11-9 11-5 11-7 in the last eight.
Bush-Harris missed out on a second crown in the men's doubles with Ray James. The favourites were beaten by Stefane Bonafous and revenging Elphick.
Cotton, despite a four-game loss to Zhongwei Guan in the veterans final, enjoyed probably his most successful championships. He teamed up with Wicks to take the mixed doubles.
Wicks completed a hat-trick by defeating Jenny Backman 11-3 11-4 11-4 in her singles final and combined with Barbara Jones to take the women's doubles.
Stephen Denman pipped brother James to secure the junior boys and division one singles titles, but he was beaten 8-11 11-7 11-7 12-14 8-11 in the consolation final by Thomas Woodward.
Meanwhile, hopes are rising that the top Horsham team will be able to accept promotion in the premier division of the British League.
Horsham secretary Derek Bunday said: "It seems almost certain that the premier clubs will vote for four weekends instead of 14 Sundays. That will reduce our costs and almost certainly allow us to play in the top flight."
A meeting of players of both the top Horsham teams will take place to decide who wants to play at the highest level and who would rather play in Division One. Former Sussex champion Mayur Majithia has signalled he is willing to stay down.
The big question is whether Ritchie Venner and Adrian Moore return to Horsham. They will be needed to strengthen the team.
It is expected that the Worthing pair Andy Walker and Peter Bartram will be prepared to play in the premier division.
