Crawley have avoided relegation from Kent/Sussex division one and South Saxons may also stay up.
A 1-1 draw for Crawley against Crowborough was enough to ensure their survival. The deadlock was broken in the 50th minute when Crawley's Steve Main set up Steve Innes to score but Crowborough responded five minutes later when Darren Pulman levelled.
Crawley skipper Jamie Westwood said: "We have really gone through it this season. With some players departing at Christmas it put some additional pressure on the club and many of the members have felt let down by their departure.
"Relegation would have put an end to decent hockey in Crawley so it now gives us an opportunity to rebuild for next season."
South Saxons lost 3-2 to Burnt Ash despite goals from Jeremy Bunday and Gavin Cload which means they finish in the bottom two. It is unclear whether one or two teams will be relegated from the league.
League secretary Adrian Kearney said: "It depends on the teams coming down from above. It will definitely be one going down but I think it is unlikely it will be two."
In the Kent/Sussex Regional League, Horsham lost their final game 5-3 at Maidstone despite leading 2-0 thanks to goals from skipper Richard Lowe and Dom Cohen. Robin Sims also scored.
