I am not sure Simon Barnes knows Falmer as well as he thinks he does (Letters, April 4).
I have visited Falmer since I was a little boy, worked at the Falmer complex and now drive past the stadium site at least twice a day.
As yet, I have not seen anyone walking, cycling or riding on that piece of land.
Most of the site is a field used for arable crops and the rest has concrete buildings on it.
Falmer is for all and when the stadium is built Mr Barnes can join a great swathe of the Sussex community and come to watch a game there.
