Anti-war protesters are maintaining their profile despite the conflict in Iraq approaching its fourth week.
On Thursday, there was a protest marking two weeks of war outside West Worthing station, where campaigners gathered with banners, whistles, drums, pots and pans.
Organisers said there would be a weekly protest while the fighting continued, with tomorrow's meeting being held in front of the Guildbourne Centre.
Every Friday, Worthing Against War stages a weekly vigil at the war memorial in Chapel Road from 5pm to 7pm.
There was a demonstration in Montague Place on Saturday, followed by a Rock against War concert in the Vintner's Parrot, Warwick Street, featuring local punk band Flatpig, Littlehampton ska-punk band Thank You Terrance and East London grunge outfit Beyond.
On Monday, protesters assembled outside the Inland Revenue offices, near Durrington station, while on Saturday a contingent will travel from Worthing for a national anti-war demonstration in London, meeting at 9.45am outside the main railway station.
Labour MP Jeremy Corbyn and Irish folk band Flash Company will be at the Labour Hall, Lyndhurst Road, Worthing, on May 10 from 8pm to midnight.
