Some things come round but once in four years - the Olympics, the World Cup and the Hangleton And Knoll Labour Community Action Team.
I share Pat Weller's concerns about the wild claims this group makes for itself. In reality, councillors Fitch and Kielty have voted to close and run down services in Hangleton and Knoll.
They voted to close St Peter's old people's home, going against earlier promises, and criticised former councillor Dave Newland for trying to save it.
They slashed Hangleton community centre's funding until Mr Newland got it restored. At Toad's Hole Valley, they are proposing a business park be built.
Socialist Alliance candidate Newland is fighting to preserve this open space.
