Staff at Arundel Surgery are preparing to move to new premises.

The moving date has been set for May 2.

Surgery practice manager Julie Palmer said: "The doctors and staff are really looking forward to moving into the new surgery.

"We will now be able to provide care for members of our community both in and around Arundel in first-class surroundings."

Local people have been invited to an informal viewing of the new medical centre in Green Lane Close before staff move in.

Patients are being asked for their help and co-operation over what will inevitably be a busy period for everyone working at the surgery.

Prescriptions will need to be ordered before April 29 or after May 8 to allow time for computers to be moved and rewired in the new premises.

During the move itself, the surgery will run an emergency service and patients can expect to be seen at either the old or new surgery premises.

The first working day in the new surgery will be May 6.
