Riding the wave of the surf pop revival are local tribute band the Brighton Beach Boys.
Formed by local actor and musician Ralph Brown (Withnail And I/Star Wars: Episode I) the band recreate the harmonies and melodies of this legendary band.

YUSA, Komedia, Gardner Street, Brighton, April 21.
This Cuban chanteuse and multi-instrumentalist spent years jamming and improvising all over Havanaz.
Her self-titled album was recorded in Havana and released on Tumi and her bitter-sweet lyrics have invoked comparisons with the likes of Joan Armatrading and Tracy Chapman.

STEPHEN MALKAMUS & THE JICKS, Concorde 2, Madeira Drive, Brighton, April 22.
Visionary Stephen Malkamus shares his melodies and trademark arcane wordplay following the release of his album, Pig Lib, last month.
