Brighton under-11s are going to play at Twickenham.
They face Lincoln in the third place play-off in the National Festival on May 25.
They qualified by defeating Wescliff 15-0 with tries from Darion Naylor (2) and Craig Holland at Nottingham.
Brighton finished third in their pool with 10-0 victories against Hill Ionians (James Kinsella and Sam Smith) and Paviors (Kieron Martin and Naylor). George Taylor touched down in a 5-0 victory against Ormskirk and Craig Holland scored in the 5-5 draw against Doncaster. The match against Lincoln was scoreless and Brighton were pipped 5-0 by Cobham and Richmond Coach Neil Thomas said of his Sussex champions: "It was like playing a county final in every match. They did as well as they could have done and didn't look out of place.
"Other teams and their coaches were very complimentary. They were also suprised we had an effective and committed minis set-up.
"The boys are a little disappointed they didn't go through to play for a higher place but they have done something not many players of any age achieve and that is to earn a place in a Twickenham final."
Other finals: Old Northamptonians v Cobham (playing for first place), Rosslyn Park v Richmond (second) and Hull Ionians v Ormskirk playing (fourth).
