A Rolling Stones tribute band is being offered a little family support by performing on stage with the older brother of rock legend Ronnie Wood.
Art Wood will sing five songs with Brighton-based the Railing Stains at an open-air concert in Hartfield, near Lewes, on July 26.
It will not be the first time a relative of Stones guitarist Ronnie has played with the band - his son Jesse Wood, also a guitarist, used to be a member.
Art Wood is due to sing songs, including Got My Mojo Working, Big Boss Man and Kansas City, when the band performs at the show in aid of the Coleman's Hatch Horticultural Society.
Art's band, the Artwoods, was a key influence on the emerging London rock and blues scene of the early-Sixties.
The Railing Stains' preparations for the gig have been boosted after they featured in a special supplement hailing the country's top tribute bands produced by The Stage newspaper.
Lead singer and band manager Bob Ward said: "To be chosen from several thousand bands, by what is the bible of the theatre and music world, is a great morale boost."
Pat Andrews, ex-lover of original Stones guitarist Brian Jones, has also sung with the Railing Stains and may feature in the July 26 show.
