Top scorer Henry Goodburn has a try and a post match party to catch up on when Haywards Heath stage the biggest ever club game in Sussex tomorrow.

Heath tackle South West One runners-up Reading in a play-off for the last remaining place in National Three South at Whitemans Green (3pm).

Promotion would be a huge step up for Heath, who were on course to go up as champions until the last few weeks of the season.

They know they will need to play a lot better than in the Sussex Trophy final against Chichester last week, when the lower division side took them to extra-time.

Goodburn was suffering from a virus in that match and missed out on both his customary cup final try and a night out with the team afterwards.

Reading are sure to have pinpointed him as the major threat however after his 18 tries left him top of the London One scoring charts.

Goodburn said: "That's a nice honour because tries don't come easy in this league but there are a lot of key areas in this game.

"We need to start a lot better than we have done in our recent cup games and a big home crowd will help us in that."

Nick Killick starts at hooker in his last club game before retiring but Gordon Denslow is also expected to play a major role coming off the bench.

Damien Lyall returns in the back row and Owen Ashton gets the nod over Stuart Charnley as right wing and goal kicker.

Haywards Heath have a 100 per cent home record stretching back to early last year while Reading are unbeaten on the road since October.

Haywards Heath: Cook, Ashton, G. Goodburn, Stocker, H. Goodburn, Graham, Meredith; Shadbolt, Killick, Edwards, Ure, Dinsdale, Wattam, Rankin, Lyall. Reps: Charnley, Denslow, Cassidy.
