Bognor boss Jack Pearce has told his men to forget about grinding out the point they need for promotion.
A draw against Lewes at Nyewood Lane will send Rocks into the top flight and Pearce admits nerves are playing a part.
The last thing he wants his men to do is try and hang on for a result like they did in the last half-hour at Worthing on Monday.
Especially with the title still within their reach.
Pearce admitted: "Crossing the finishing line is the hardest thing in a race like this. There's no doubt we are very tense. If Lewes think it's all over and relax that could be bad news for us.
"Our philosophy will not change. We will go out to win the match. I don't even know how to play for a draw."
Pearce, who is without full back Adam El-Abd and possibly striker Lee Stevens, is looking forward to pitting his wits against Jimmy Quinn.
The Lewes boss has had a tough week as tension mounts in the promotion race.
Pearce said: "I managed Jimmy at Bognor in the Eighties and I didn't have any problems with him.
"He has always been a stormy character but he was a good footballer and his record as a manager stands up well."
