As an ardent theatre-goer for many years, I have rationed my visits during the past few months because of the high cost of seats at the Theatre Royal, Brighton.
On some evenings, the gallery, priced at £12-15, and the upper circle, at £16-19, have been closed with thin audiences throughout.
Whatever happened to our once lovely, reasonably priced theatre?
