Unique abstract sculptures worth hundreds of pounds each have been stolen from a dentist's surgery in Brighton.
The alabaster and Portland stone pieces are worth between £600 and £900 each.
Thieves stole three, worth a total of £2,600, and dropped one worth £880 on a windowsill, damaging it irreparably.
The break happened overnight at Christopher Gull in Ship Street and was discovered on April 16 by the dentist.
He was loaned the sculptures by Impact Art, a company based in North Chailey. The sculptor is Claire Morris from Slinfold.
PC Gavin Crute said: "These pieces are about a foot high and very heavy. Whoever broke in needed help but even so would have struggled. "
Anyone with information as to the whereabouts of these sculptures or the burglary should call PC Crute at Brighton police station on 0845 6070999 or Crimestoppers in confidence on 0800 555111.
