With regard to the reporting on Labour's losses in the local election (The Argus, May 1), I think one important point was missed.
Much of the increase in votes for the Green Party and Lib Dems is a direct result of Labour's policy before, and during, the Iraq war.
Labour has lost council seats as voters have turned away from the party in disgust.
