Last year, a huge event was held in Brighton, Big Beach Boutique. I did not go but from what I saw, watching on E4 live, it seemed like a great event.
I know it is doubtful it will be held again this year because it was seen as chaotic although, out of the 250,000 people who attended, only one person was killed and as few as 160 injured.
Brighton and Hove City Council could deal with a huge event such as this, just as it did last year and the year before. Reduce the number of people who attend. Between 50,000 and 100,000 people is a good amount to expect. However, for a free event there would be more. If it does happen again - which I would love because I was too young to go last year (I am only 15) - there should be a ticketing system whereby free tickets are given out so those who want to go have to be there bright and early to get their tickets.
