Vocal group I Fagiolini invite you to a Venetian party at the time of the High Renaissance, with music and song celebrating the popular theatre of the time, the commedia del'arte.
Colourful, playful and charming, it will provide a perfect introduction to theatre for all ages.
The group uses traditional masks and simple sets and the talents of three mime artists to bring alive tales of unhappy lovers, old rogues, cheeky servants and royal stag hunts.
The beautifully decorated St George's Chapel is the venue for this jolly occasion which includes music by Monteverdi and Gabrielli and promises to be a major highlight of this year's Festival.
Tickets £18 to £6 including an interval glass of wine. Call 01273 709709.
