Sussex League: Horsham have already shown they mean business.
Now they are set to unleash their captain and overseas player into the Sussex League title battle.
Skipper Scott Stratton was away and Aussie import Michael Bright unwell when last season's runners-up won convincingly at Worthing last week.
They return this time for the home derby with Giles Haywood's Steyning.
Stratton said: "Michael got 130 in a friendly on Sunday and is feeling a lot better."
By contrast, defeated Worthing have lost players for the home clash with Chichester.
Anthony Aduhene is unavailable and former Sussex batsman Dominic Clapp is away looking to re-launch his professional career.
Clapp has been picked for the Hampshire side which faces Oxford University.
Skipper Andy Lutwyche joked: "I congratulated him and called him a name at the same time.
"Seriously though we would love to see him earn a contract."
Plenty of eyes will be on The Saffrons, where Sussex new boy Shaun Rashid makes his home debut for Eastbourne and a new pitch is given its first league action.
The re-laid wicket is part of Eastbourne's attempts to persuade Sussex to return for first team matches and will be in use for the visit of Brighton and Hove.
The visitors make several changes, including a chance for Bas Zuiderent to get some runs.
Teenage seamer Matt Wood and wicketkeeper Neil Robinson are also among the men called in.
Newly-promoted Stirlands have opener Barry Meaney back for the trip to Three Bridges.
