The Brighton and Hove Bus and Coach Company (The Argus, May 6) says one-day Saver tickets cost £2.40.
For two people over a period of seven days, the cost is £33.60.
No wonder it is cheaper to use a car. Brighton and Hove City Council should break the bus company's monopoly.
