I would like to pay tribute to Catherine Mary Palmer of Southgate in Crawley, who died on Saturday May 31, aged 91.
Mrs Palmer retired from Northgate Infants School as the longest-serving dinner lady in West Sussex.
Sadly, we are not likely to see the likes of this lady in our county ever again.
