The long public inquiry into a proposed community stadium is over apart from examining details of a coach park and road improvements in October.
Brighton and Hove Albion's case for the stadium at Falmer has been made clearly and urgently during the eight-week sitting.
It is clear Falmer, although not the ideal site, is the only feasible choice on offer in the whole Brighton and Hove area.
No club with aspirations to be in the top flight can possibly survive for long at the temporary stadium in Withdean.
What Albion need to do during the summer is make peace with the University of Brighton, one of the site's owners.
The case the club has made is strong. It will be much stronger if, before the inquiry finally closes, it has the university's full backing too.
