On behalf of the Royal National Lifeboat Institution in the South East, I would like to thank you for voting the Lifeboats as the charity of the year at The Argus Achievement Awards.
I would also like to thank you for your hospitality on behalf of everyone who attended.
All the volunteers had a good evening and enjoyed the event.
If any of your readers would like to find out more about the Lifeboats, Brighton Station at the Marina is having an open day on June 29, from 11am to 4pm.
There will be an opportunity to meet the crew, visit the crew room and have a look at the lifeboat. There will also be a lifeboat display during they day.
