Paul Hutchison gets his first experience of Twenty20 Cup cricket tonight in Sussex's must-win game against Surrey Lions at Imber Court.

With two wins already, Surrey are in control of the south group while another defeat for the Sharks would mean their only hope of reaching the finals would be by finishing as best runner-up.

Hutchison replaces James Kirtley who has joined up with the England squad in the only change to the team beaten by five runs in Friday's opener against Hampshire.

Director of cricket Peter Moores was happy with his team's performance at the Rose Bowl but he wants them to show more patience despite the frenetic nature of the competition.

"You only get one hour 15 minutes for each innings and that made people more rushed and less inclined to think as much," he said.

"But we're only talking about five seconds as a bowler or two seconds as a batsman to settle yourself, relax and think about what sort of delivery you're going to bowl or where good hitting areas are for you.

"In that respect I thought James Kirtley and Tim Ambrose had that tempo. I thought we did pretty well but we learned on Friday that Twenty20 magnifies everything, there is no margin for error."

The Metropolitan Police ground at Esher stages its second Twenty20 game tonight.

Sussex (probable): Prior, Zuiderent, Goodwin, Adams, Martin-Jenkins, Ambrose, Innes, Ahmed, Davis, Lewry, Hutchison.
