In my younger days, we all ate dripping and the jelly underneath on a piece of bread.
We even made meat puddings, dumplings, stews and spotted dicks - everything that greased our chests to keep away the colds in winter - and they worked a treat.
So why do the doctors want to stop us eating so many good, fatty foods these days?
Is it because the Government wants to starve us all and kill us off so it doesn't have to help us money-wise with everything we need to live on?
Will John Prescott get a hospital bed if he needs one? I bet he will and they are saying fat people won't get one.
