Actress and singer Elaine Paige showed her support for a children's charity by opening its natural health shop.

The West End star, currently appearing in Where There's A Will at the Theatre Royal in Brighton, performed the ceremony at the Dolphin House Shop, New Road, yesterday.

The store will help raise funds for Brighton-based charity the Children's Clinic, which provides complementary therapies including homeopathy, acupuncture, and osteopathy at low prices.

The service is offered at the Dolphin House Clinic in New Road and at outreach centres in and around Brighton.

All funds from the Dolphin House Shop will go towards expanding the services offered by the clinic Steve Guthrie, director of the Children's Clinic, said: "The shop provides us with a means of expanding our services to meet demand from our clients to stock natural health and body care products, while generating income to allow the Children's Centre to continue its important work with babies, children and young adults."
