Southern FM is bringing some of the UK's top pop acts together for the annual Party In The Park.

This year's amazing line-up includes Busted, Girls Aloud, Mis-teeq, Atomic Kitten and Daniel Bedingfield.

Crowds of more than 75,000 are expected at the free event, which runs from noon until 4pm.

Last year's party was the best yet with incredible bands and glorious sunshine.

This year pop fans are guaranteed brilliant performances and catchy tunes but they'll have to keep their fingers crossed for sunny weather.

Organisers Southern FM and sponsors O2 In The City say the party will be bigger and better than ever before.

Up-and-coming acts such as Intenso Project, Maria Wilson, Jody Lei and Tommy will kick off and hot UK acts such as Sugababes, Mel C and Kym Marsh will keep the party going.

There will even be an O2 bubble on site where you can send a text message to the screen next to the stage and let your friends know where you are.

Parking around Preston Park is very limited so it is best to take public transport.

If you are arriving by train to Brighton, it is just a ten-minute walk to the park and the whole route will be stewarded.

Connex South Central and Connex South Eastern are laying on extra trains to Brighton from all points in Sussex but Preston Park station will be closed on the day between 8am and 6pm. Buses that run near the park include the 5, 5a and 5b.

You should have a pretty good view from anywhere in the park. There will be two giant screens either side of the stage, relaying all the action as it happens.

Within the park there will be several meeting points as well as a lost children post. An information point will also be provided.

Southern FM will be broadcasting live from Preston Park from 9am on the day.
