West Sussex League: Dome Mission continue to lead division one by a single point after a convincing home win over Shoreham.

Marcus Faithful hit 44 and Patel made 43 to help Mission to 231-6, which was rarely under threat as Shoreham reached 185 in reply.

Mick Williams (47) and Chris Ward (54) did their best for Shoreham, but received little support as Tony Lias (4-34) and Steve Hoyle (5-40) got to work.

West Blatchington remain hot on the leaders' heels after picking up maximum points at home against reigning champions Crawley Eagles III.

Blatch made 215-7 after electing to bat first, thanks to Sunny Agnihotr (65) and Jeremy Carthew (37). Crawley were left reeling at 80-9 after a good bowling by Ahmed (3-30), before Eagles restored some respectability to finish all out for 142.

Third-placed Palmers are still in the hunt following a narrow win at St Matthias.

Palmers made 235-9 with Nick Buckley (55) and Bill Sayburn (39) causing most of the damage, but that total looked under threat as Saints fell just short on 232-9.

Colin Allen (37), Alex Richardson (37), Jim Ross (35) and Rob Sherlock (35) all produced solid batting displays.

Ram continued their good form this season with a convincing win at home to Brighton Insurance.

Despite lying fifth in the table, Ram are still in contention for the title as they have three games in hand over the top two. Rakesh (94) and Giresh (45) helped set a total of 256-9 for Ram, which proved too much for Insurance as they finished on 178-4. Grant Morrish was the pick of the Brighton batsmen (102 not out).

Three Bridges IV have the bragging rights at the club after beating Three Bridges III. Keith Walters (51) and Ted Elsey (43) helped the fourths to 184-9, despite the best efforts of Azhar (3-43) and Steve Harris (3-34). The thirds could only manage 125-9 in reply after economical bowling by Graham Long (3-20) and Mark McNeile (4-33).

Tight bowling by Brian Chambers (4-34) and John Chaloner (6-18) gave West Chiltington a comfortable home win over Middleton.
