In answer to Arron Freeman's letter (June 28) about the current debate within the Church concerning human relationships, Jesus explained to the Pharisees: "He which made them at the beginning made them male and female - man shall cleave to his wife and they twain shall be one flesh.
"What therefore God hath joined together let not man put asunder". Matthew 19 v4-6.
Therefore, any deviation from this standard is not according to God's will and is an abomination to Him.
If people choose to ignore the words of God and His Son the Lord Jesus Christ, they should not call themselves Christian.
