The Argus printed a picture of a in-line skater (July 7) wearing no protective kit, hanging on to the back of a double-decker bus.
He appears oblivious to every regulation and the basic common sense of valid users of the public highway.
The police should broadcast a stern warning that stunt behaviour on the highway will not be tolerated.
If no law against this dangerous behaviour exists, please issue a safe skating code quickly - before someone becomes involved in a fatal accident.
This also illustrates the need for more supervised and allocated skating venues.
Keep Sussex Skating (KSS) has called on Brighton and Hove City Council to include roller skating facilities at Black Rock to complement the proposed skating development for Hove Lagoon.
