Sussex League: Lewes Priory continue to set the pace in division two after a comfortable eight-wicket win at home to Cuckfield.
St James are second after a nail-biting win at Haywards Heath, while Littlehampton did not have a game.
Cuckfield found run-scoring tough at Lewes before eventually making 192-9 declared as Jonathan Goodwin hit 54, Nick Patterson 39 and Chris Mole 31. Sher Khanaga took 3-24 and Kashis Ibrahim 3-44.
Ibrahim (82 not out) was the match-winner for Lewes and shared an unbroken second- wicket stand of 104 with Richard Eborn (52 not out).
St James won a high-scoring game at Haywards Heath by one wicket with two balls to spare after chasing a total of 246-7 declared. David Wood made a typically classy 95, South African Gregg Fry 38 and Stuart Faith 30 in Heath's score.
Pick of the bowlers was Andy Wellfare with 2-34 against his old club.
St James looked to be cruising home but a flurry of wickets left them needing four to win with one wicket standing going into the final over.
Ed McGregor made 58, Mark Gardner 44 and Tim Burton 39 in the victory-chase, while the pick of the home bowlers was teenager Ben Collins with 4-66.
There was another close game at Roffey where the home side beat bottom club Bexhill by 11 runs.
Skipper Simon Shivnarain made the top score in a Roffey total of 187 all out.
New Zealander Mark Jefferson then took 6-50 as Bexhill were dismissed for 176.
Sidley struggled to chase Preston Nomads' total of 219 all out. Steve Gatting made 41 and William Davis 34 but it was David Smith with 54, having returned to the game this season, who put Nomads in the driving seat.
Veteran medium-pacer Tyrone Wildman took 5-38 and there were two wickets each for Peter King and Imran Javed.
Ian Phillips made an obdurate 47 not out and Paul Matthews 38 in Sidley's 200-7 reply. Ian Jones was the pick of the Nomads' bowlers with 5-65.
