Last year I entered into correspondence with Brighton and Hove City Council regarding the removal of four residents' parking spaces in Dorset Gardens, Brighton.
The response to my query was that I was the only permit holder in Dorset Gardens and therefore those spaces were not needed.
As this answer was clearly ludicrous (I would need most fingers on both hands to count the number of residents in Dorset Gardens who have parking permits), I wrote back and got the reply that actually there were two permit holders in Dorset Gardens.
I received another false reply but ran out of energy for chasing the truth from a council that was not interested.
The other day, I watched four residents' cars get parking tickets in those four spaces allegedly not used by Dorset Gardens residents.
Thankfully, I was not one of them but I could have been and I would appreciate an answer from our council to what exactly is going on?
