Two police cars and a helicopter were led on a high-speed pursuit through Brighton by a suspect driver today.
Officers in a patrol car signalled for the E-reg vehicle to pull over in Bear Road at 9.30am when they became suspicious.
The car was driven at high speed through Whitehawk and Hanover, putting other drivers in danger, before it crashed into a parked car.
Two men inside ran from the vehicle but were arrested in nearby Queen's Park Road at 9.38am.
There were arrested and were being questioned by police.
A police spokeswoman said: "We received a call at 9.30am from a road policing officer saying a car had failed to stop in Bear Road.
"We commenced a follow, which led officers down Freshfield Road and into Whitehawk. The police helicopter was also called in to assist.
"The people in the car were showing a serious disregard for others on the road."
The car came to a stop in Islingword Road when it collided with a parked vehicle.
Nobody was hurt in the chase, but police are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident.
They have yet to determine whether the car was stolen or what make and model it is.
