Ian Hills (Letters, July 17) assumes politicians don't live in council houses.
Does he think council tenants are not clever or interested enough?
I recently represented the Labour Party in local elections and I live in a council house.
There will always be some councillors who are less effective than others but the majority work hard representing their constituents.
I wonder what else Mr Hills assumes about council tenants.
